Hero name: Labuyo
Real name: Rey Mangubat Occupation: Sports Journalist Profile: Rey and his friends were mountain climbing one day and got seperated from the group after accidentally falling to a crevice, revealing a hidden cave. While exploring the cave, he followed a labuyo (wild rooster) to a small cavern shrine. He saw a rooster symbol on the wall and curiously touched it. He suddenly felt a rush of spirit energy to his body and then collapsed on the floor. His companions arrived on the site and rescued him. Weeks later Rey discovered that he has amazing reflexes, can jump high and is quite proficient handling bladed weaponry. Excited by his new found abilities, Rey became the costumed super hero named Labuyo. Powers: Heightened reflexes, great leaping ability and skilled in the use of bladed weapons. Trivia: In his dreams, Rey learned that his powers came from an ancient warrior tribe who had these same abilities. |
